How much does ComputingLifeSci cost?
ComputingLifeSci costs ₹50 per month for learners in India and $1 per month elsewhere, which unlocks all 23 courses, every animation and every article. A yearly plan is available at ₹500 or $10, saving roughly 17 per cent. The Python and R courses are free in full and require no payment.
Is there a free bioinformatics course on ComputingLifeSci?
Yes. Python for Biologists (126 chapters) and R for Biologists (46 chapters) are free in full, forever. Every other course also opens its first two chapters at no cost, so you can judge the writing before paying. A free account with a name and email is required to read.
What payment methods are accepted?
In India, payments run through Razorpay and accept UPI, net banking, credit cards and debit cards, with UPI Autopay collecting the monthly amount automatically. Outside India, international credit and debit cards are accepted and charged in US dollars.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time from your billing page. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately, and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
Do I get new courses without paying more?
Yes. New courses, articles and animations are added weekly and are included in the same subscription at no extra cost. There are no per-course fees at any point.
Is there a student discount?
The ₹50 monthly price is already set for students on a stipend, so there is no separate student rate. The yearly plan lowers the effective monthly cost further to about ₹42 if you are studying for a full academic year.
