Terms of Service
Last updated 4 August 2026
These terms govern your use of ComputingLifeSci (“the Service”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
1. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for individual use — sharing credentials or redistributing course content is not permitted.
2. Subscriptions and billing
- The Free plan gives permanent access to the Python and R courses in full, plus the first two chapters of every other course.
- Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees through Razorpay. The Monthly plan renews every 30 days; the Yearly plan renews every 365 days.
- Renewal is automatic until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until their next renewal after that notice period.
3. Content licence
All course material is original work and remains the property of ComputingLifeSci. A subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to read and use the material for your own study and research. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute the content, in whole or in part, including as training data for machine learning models.
Code samples within the courses may be freely used in your own research and projects without attribution.
4. Accuracy and academic use
The material is educational. While it is written carefully and reviewed, it is not a substitute for peer-reviewed literature, clinical guidance, or professional judgement. Verify any method against primary sources before relying on it in published research or clinical work.
5. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced where practical.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that share credentials, scrape or redistribute content, or attempt to circumvent access controls. Where termination is not the result of such a breach, any unused portion of a paid period will be refunded.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
